ISLAND PALMS RESORT

Island Palms Resort is found on beautiful Magnetic Island, one of the Great Barrier Reef's most popular destinations.

The resort's twelve self-contained apartments are spacious and light, and designed to take full advantage of the stunning views. If you can drag yourself outside an abundance of activity awaits. Much of the island is National Park, meaning plenty of wallabies, possums and koalas to see for the kids and prolific bird life for nature enthusiasts. The park itself can be explored on bikes, horseback, or foot, via the 24km of walking trails. For the less energetic there are always a few rounds to be played on the nine-hole golf course.

Of course the magnificent Barrier Reef is the biggest draw card, offering endless leisure possibilities, including boat trips, snorkeling, scuba diving, jet skiing, and sailing, just to name a few. All this and more, only twenty minutes by regular ferry from Townsville!
